Prologue

A past Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Fraser once said in a famous speech in 1971, “life wasn’t meant to be easy”.  For the older generation, it is a common phrase thrown around to explain life’s difficulties, much like c’est la vie.  Though the truer meaning is, at least to Mr Fraser, is to have the courage to take on difficult challenges.  

Regardless, the modern world has advanced and it has become better for some, if not most.  This marvellous progress of peace and prosperity has led us to believe that life should be easy, everything is possible, all it takes is to wish it and it’d come true.  Yet when the inevitable reality of life strikes, we find ourselves in disbelieve and lacking the skills and resources to cope and overcome.  Life then becomes a struggle and it all seems too hard to break free.  

Struggle Perpetual highlights some of the challenges one faces in life and encourages everyone to dig deep and to find the courage to persevere onwards.  To be clear, yours truly here does not have all or any answers.  Though take heart that you are not suffering alone.
